A collaborative approach between the teams from GR8 Constructions and Sanctum Interior Design was the driver behind the success of the GR8 Display home in Bonner.
When Briefing the Designer from Sanctum Interior Design the builder’s vision was simple “We wanted a home to best represent what we are about” Says co-director Grant.
Grant Wilson and Robert Petrovic formed GR8 constructions some 7 years ago with the intention of creating stylish yet affordable living for new home owners. Both Grant and Robert possessed a strong trade background then formed GR8 constructions which came naturally.
The pair started building 2-3 homes a year and has increased their business portfolio to 40 new builds per annum. “We don’t want to take on too many new homes a year as we don’t wish to compromise our quality and service for the sake of more work” says Robert.
The duo opened their first display home in 1st Edition Kingston Foreshores being the first display home of its kind, the home currently open for display was their first opportunity to exhibit to the Canberra market in a display Village.
“We were keen to get a new display home in Gungahlin and when the Land Development Agency put together plans for the Bonner Living showcase in Clay street we were keen to be a part of the event.” Says Robert.
“The feedback has been overwhelming” Grant said excitedly. With 6 contracts already issued to build the same home exactly as displayed it is evident we achieved what we set out to do. “Visitors to the display village have commented that our home best suits all their needs.”
While GR8 can build any quality finish to exact standards this particular home is a great example of how affordable inclusions can be implemented with style.
It is evident from the minute you set foot into the home it is well designed and carefully co- ordinated. Karen’s flair for design and style combined with GR8’s commitment to quality has definitely created something distinctive and affordable.
